Your passion is bolder then me

It's a warm Saturday night and I've opted for a relaxing evening at home. As I lay in bed, I can't help but glare at my walls in complete and utter frustration. I've been trying to find beautiful prints to hang on my walls but, it is truly is one of the hardest tasks. These days, I just about fall in love with everyone's work and I want to honor them all by surrounding myself with the quaint moments they have put on paper. Unfortunately, this type of thinking is bigger than the four walls that surround me right now. Eventually I'll have to choose a few GREAT prints to marry a few GREAT frames that will hopefully give birth to what I'd like to call a Home. I've found another candidate tonight who I think will make the cut. Take a breath and ogle at the amazing work of YELENA BRYKSENKOVA.
Beside the obvious appeal of her great color palettes and subject matter, I'm always a sucker for a great bio.

The Collection

I had the chance to participate in designing a showroom for a charity event put on by Eva's Initiatives earlier this month. As I got into the workings and functions of a Bedroom, each item began to speak to me like the pages in a diary. It's safe to say that some of these treasures now inhabit my own bedroom telling any visitors a little bit of my own story.

So this is a study of my stuff-Lit Above the City at 21.

This apartment belongs to photographer Andreas Ohlund and his girlfriend Therese (Model). One day, I'm going to live in an apartment with just as much character. I'll call it: Home.
