It's far too hard to choose a favourite Whitney Houston song when so many are dear to my heart. As a young boy I remember singing along to 'How Will I know' with my mother, two stepping to 'Dance with Somebody' and discovering the complexities of the heart to 'I will always love you'. Before those hits, Whitney Houston covered  'Home'- one of my all time favourite songs from the Broadway hit Musical  'the Wiz'. There's a quiet beauty about it that makes me smile uncontrollably. I hope that feeling is contagious.

Needless to say, the music industry has suffered a great loss but let us all be thankful for the legacy left behind.

"Living here in this brand new world might be a fantasy but it's taught me to love...so it's real"

Yea, I went there.
The end of the year has me feeling more nostalgic than usual. ( didn't think that was possible?) The years are flying by- like tomorrow I'll graduate, and the week after I'll be middle aged.I'm not afraid of this concept I just want to enjoy every minute of it. As I watch the second hand on my clock tick, tick, tick. I'm reminded of the song we all love and hate. The truth is Mr. Larson is brilliant for putting this thought into the atmosphere in the form of song.

How do you measure a year?

-In Starbucks
-In blog entries
-In all nighters
-In paycheques
-In imperial
-In Cardboard
-In sunlight
-In photos
-In texts
-In Pints
-In laughter
-In hugs
-In Post Stamps
-But most & best of all, In Seasons of love for all the people that have graced me with their smiles and ideas, hugs and kisses.

Cheers to a decade!

I can’t believe I’m doing this…

Ok, I’ve given in. Once upon a time I thought I was oh so original and refreshing, but I’m finally ok with admitting that I’m just like everyone else. I’m an avid slave to Myspace and Ef book and now I’m here blogging, claiming that the world is a tad more interesting through my eyes. I won’t lie to you. It’s probably not, but I’m sure you’ll manage to be entertained by my crazy antics and commentary on the simple things like eating out, impeccable style and why everyday should be a musical (for serious).
Speaking of musicals, I’m heading to London (ON) to see my Braj in Dreamgirls tomorrow. I’m thinking this will be an epic outing. Henry Krieger is pretty much a musical genius.
