Fancy that, It's Friday already. Where did the week go?
I feel as though I've done very little to call the week a success, but I will say that I am basking in the success of those around me. I'm simply inspired by the brilliant minds that keep my company.
I'll begin with the wonderful KathleenMurie- the fluttering songbird who constantly fills my ears. If I could, I would keep her in my pocket for always allowing her to come out at various points in the day to play the soundtrack to my life. I think she'd be excellent at it. But for now, I'm more than fine drowning in the tunes to her life as she walks with her head up, guitar in hand and all of her troubles and dreams in song. She's very admirable & will always have my support.
So I'm in a band. "Signed. Sealed. Delivered." We basically do some mowtown and jazz tunes. Suddenly going retro became so0o mod, so we're riding the wave and having a good time.
We have three vocalists: Myself, Gillian, and Lyssa. I'd say both ladies are crazy talented and I'm happy to be able to make music with them. Anyway, as I scan my sites favourited, I always rediscover some excellent finds and Lyssa would be one of them. Once again, myspace music comes to the rescue by opening up great avenues for artists that really need to be heard. Lyssa just happens to be one of them. Love her up.
Anyway, I guess I'll take the time to introduce you to the rest of the band when we have some group shots and our myspace is up and running.
In the mean time, bask in these excellent shots by my friend Ellie. It's always amazing to see what people can actually do with a camera and a gifted eye.
