I picked up today's issue of Eye Weekly and couldn't help but be pleasantly suprised by Shawn Micallef's article: Stroll: Shawn Micallef’s flâneur manifesto, revisited. Every once in a while I get this weird fascination with the idea behind Toronto. These city lights might not ever be as hypnotizing as New York's or Paris' but who's to say if that's a bad thing. I think Toronto has its own allure that many Torontonians remain silent about. Take the time to scream it out loud. Toronto is pretty damn fantastic! I'm to excited to read Shawn's book regarding the psycho Geography of Toronto and uncover all the many routes he has discovered, walked and admired. Let's here it for the city lights of all of the districts that come together to form this interesting city full of mystery. Afterall, Columbus only layed a foundation for further exploration.
